OUR SERVICES

Our Bed and Breakfast is in a very central, quite and safe area, only two minutes walk from the railstation ROMA TRASTEVERE. The district is very well served by public transports (trains, buses, tramways, taxis). Next to the station there is a taxi rank and the stop of tramway line 8, which runs through Viale Trastevere and takes to the area of Largo di Torre Argentina in the very centre of the city.

By train it is possible to reach easily Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci), the railstation Termini and the railstation Roma S. Pietro.

The river Tiber and its impressive walking lanes and cycling lane is just within easy distance. You can reach the Isola Tiberina in 20 minutes' walk.

Just a short walk and you may reach, by crossing Ponte Testaccio over the Tiber, the famous district of Testaccio, which is one the liveliest areas in Rome especially during the night.

Our B&B is in a building dating back to 1929 and it consists of two double rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen with access to the balcony and to the garden.

The rooms, which may have two single beds or a double bed, are furnished in a simple but elegant way. They have all accessories (a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, a mirror, chairs etc.).

The bathroom, with bidet and shower, is available to both guests' rooms.

In the kitchen you will find a fridge and a washing machine, which are available to our guests.

The small garden is integral part of a very large, green and surprisingly quiet courtyard, if you just consider that we are in the centre of Rome.

Car park: parking in the area is free (you do not need to pay for). You can easily park your car in the neighbourhood at any time on all week days except on Friday and Saturday between 08:00 p.m. and 02.00 a.m. because of the presence of several clubs and bars and on sunday morning, because of Porta Portese Market.

There is a wide choice of restaurants, pizzerias, bars, within walking distance, which offer our guests solutions for all needs and pockets.

There is a Carabinieri station at 100 m and a Police station at 200 m.

Rates are subject to discounts in case of long stays, i.e. longer than 8 days. Rates are progressively lower according to the length of your stay. Particular periods (such as Christmas, Easter as well as national and international special events) will be subject to surcharges. Any rate variation will be communicated while booking.

Our rates include: overnight, continental breakfast (coffee, cappuccino, tea, fruit juices, croissants or similar pastries), the use of the living room, the use of fridge and washing machine, balcony and garden.

Our rates do not include: the use of the kitchen for cooking (except for the fridge) and all services and facilities which are not linked with the overnight.

Upon request you may rent two bicycles.

You can book by e-mail. In order to confirm the booking you will be requested to send us an advanced payment equivalent to one night for stays up to 4 days and 20% of the total amount for longer stays. In Christmast, New year day and Easter periods a higher amount is request.

The full payment will be paid in cash upon your arrival. At present we still cannot accept any other form of payment such as checks or credit cards. BeB disclaims any responsibility about your propertys left in the apartment

Our guests are kindly requested to refrain from smoking in the bedrooms. Smoking is allowed only in the balcony and in the garden.

HOW TO GET TO OUR B&B

Our Bed and Breakfast is located in central Rome in the district of Trastevere.

From Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino:

Taxi: around 30 minutes; € 40,00

Train: 27 minutes. Trains run every 15 minutes on week days (every 30 minutes on holidays) to Roma Trastevere Station (from 6.00 to 22.30. A bus service is available at night). € 6,00

From Ciampino Airport:

Taxi: around 40 minutes, € 30,00

Bus: bus running to Stazione Termini and then by bus or train (see below). Various fares (about € 10,00)

From Termini Railway Station

Taxi: around 20 minutes; about € 20,00

BUS.

Express Bus: around 20 minutes, line H (€ 1,00) (get off right in front of Trastevere Station)

Train to Trastevere train station: around 17 minutes (€ 1,00). Trains run every 30 minutes.
